Estos datos forman parte del estudio “Estado de las TIC en la Administración Local”, cuya principal conclusión, según el director general para el Desarrollo de la Sociedad de la Información, David Cierco, es que en los últimos cuatro años se ha avanzado mucho, sobre todo en equipamiento.
En rueda de prensa, Cierco ha destacado además que el informe, elaborado por el Observatorio Nacional de las Tecnologías de la Información, refleja la utilización de ordenadores y el aumento de su número por empleado en todo tipo de ayuntamientos.
El estudio, en el que han participado 2.523 ayuntamientos y 44 entidades supranacionales, indica que el 90 por ciento de la población puede acceder a servicios de información general (noticias, actividades, procedimientos, etc) a través de esta vía.
