En la denominada operación ‘Yacimiento’ desarrollada en la provincia de Huelva, a un ciberdelincuente entre cuyas víctimas se encuentran políticos, periodistas y escritores, así como distintos grupos de profesionales de la comunicación, médicos y bufetes de abogados, según informó la Subdelegación del Gobierno en una nota.
Las investigaciones se iniciaron a raíz de una denuncia presentada por el Ayuntamiento onubense de Minas de Riotinto, en la que se ponía en conocimiento que una persona podía haber vulnerado varias cuentas de correo electrónico, oficiales y particulares, pertenecientes a la corporación.
Tras el análisis de los datos obtenidos, la Guardia Civil puso en marcha un dispositivo para poder detectar los rastros electrónicos, lo cual permitió realizar un seguimiento hasta los ordenadores de la universidad gaditana, donde los investigadores identificaron al sospechoso.
Dicha persona resultó ser un auténtico experto en el manejo de tecnologías de comunicación avanzadas y estaba dotado de una gran preparación académica siendo licenciado en Ciencias de la Documentación y la Comunicación, Lingüística y diplomado en Biblioteconomía.
